Dr.
Fulcher is a Board Certified Orthodontist who has distinguished
himself in is profession as well as in his home community over the
years. He graduated number one in his class from the College of
Dental Medicine at MUSC and has received many academic and service
awards from MUSC and Emory University. While at Emory, Dr, Fulcher
received the prestigious Dr. Howard Higgins Scholarship.
Dr. Fulcher has practiced in Summerville and Mt. Pleasant since
1989, and he was joined by Dr. Roberta Gardner in 2000. Dr. Fulcher
and his staff also have a location in St. George to serve our
patients in upper Dorchester County. He has also served as a
professor in the Department of Orthodontics at MUSC since 1990. He
enjoys keeping up with the latest advances in the field of
orthodontics with the residents and fellow faculty. He is a member
of the Mt. Pleasant Rotary Club where he has served as its
President. Dr. Fulcher is a member of the American Board of
Orthodontics and the American Association of Orthodontists, as well
as many other Dental Honor Societies and associations.
Dr. Fulcher lives in Summerville with his wife Kristi and their
three children, Sarah, Gracie, and Hayden. They are active members
of Bethany United Methodist Church. Dr. Fulcher enjoys spending time
with his family on the lake, camping, and skiing. He also enjoys
playing golf in the woods surrounding many of the fine golf courses
in the Lowcountry.

Dr. Gardner has distinguished herself in her profession as well as in her home community over the years. She received her Master's Degree in Orthodontics from The University of Tennessee where she completed her thesis on post-orthodontic stability. She has had several articles published in the American Journal of Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics. She is a member of the American Dental Association, The American Associations of Orthodontists and The Southern Associations of Orthodontists. She is currently secretary/treasurer of the Charleston Association of Orthodontists. Dr. Gardner practiced in Myrtle Beach for five years before joining our practice in June 2000.
Dr. Gardner lives in Mt. Pleasant with her husband, Jeff and their 2 daughters, Sophie and Lydia. She is a member of Mt. Pleasant Presbyterian Church.
